One Student. One Tutor. Your Location. Success!
ATA Certification
TutorFind carefully selects its tutors by using a comprehensive selection process. First our tutors fill out an application, which indicates their specialties, availability, travel preferences and other important factors. Then a trained recruiter conducts a thorough phone interview to determine whether the tutor meets the basic criteria we require.
Once the tutor is determined qualified, TutorFind sends the tutor's application to the American Tutoring Association. This non-profit organization dedicated to creating standards within private tutoring verifies a minimum of two professional references, related to education. If references verify the tutor’s ability to tutor successfully, the tutor completes a three tier criminal background check (including sex offedner registry check) through Pinkerton Securities, the nations oldest and most respected security company. Finally, the tutor is then submitted to TutorFind for Certification.
Once a tutor meets all of the above criteria, they are submitted to TutorFind’s database of available tutors. TutorFind also maintains records of on-going feedback from parents and students to ensure tutors maintain a high quality of service.
